Chetola Resort is seeking hard working and reliable individuals to join our Event Staff team! As an Event Staff Member, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of events, providing excellent customer service, and creating a memorable experience for guests. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in the event industry while working in a fun and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, signage, and equipment
- Greet and direct guests, providing helpful information and assistance
- Monitor event areas to ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment
- Support event coordinators, vendors, and performers as needed
- Handle crowd control and assist with entry/exit management
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism
- Follow safety and security procedures to ensure a smooth event experience
- Provide a higher level of service catered to our clientele
- Previous experience in event staffing, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform some physical tasks as required
