Our on-site Timberlakes Restaurant is looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain profitability while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and coordinate all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including front-of-house
- Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage
- Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests, addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and track costs to minimize waste and maintain profitability
- Create and manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor revenues to ensure profitability
- ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace regulations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to attract customers and increase sales
- Address and resolve conflicts between staff members or with customers in a professional manner
- Facilitate effective communication between staff, management, and customers
Skills and experience required:
2+ years of experience in a Supervisory position in the food industry, preferably in fine dining
- Leadership to guide and inspire the staff
- Understanding of how food industry works
- Strong organizational skills for unexpected circumstances, such as staffing shortages or unhappy customers
- Financial knowledge to manage the budget effectively and keep the restaurant profitable
- Analytical skills to interpret reports and make data driven decisions
- Experience using restaurant management software
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to create positive relationships
