Pittsburgh Hotel Earns Marriott’s Diamond Hotel Award

8/8/2022—PITTSBURGH, PENN.—The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh North/McCandless Crossing was awarded the Marriott Select Brand Diamond Circle Award for 2021. The award, based on guest feedback and business success, is Marriott’s highest honor.

Marriott selected 24 top-performing Fairfield Inn & Suites properties for the Diamond Hotel Award Circle. There are 1,108 Fairfield Inn & Suites in the United States, meaning the Pittsburgh North/McCandless Crossing hotel is among the top 2 percent of all Fairfield Inns. The McCandless Crossing hotel is the only Fairfield Inn in Pennsylvania to receive the award.

Marriott uses criteria including guest service scores (measuring overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend the property), competitive results from the industry STR report, and revenue results to determine its honorees—all benchmarks that Prospera Hospitality strives to improve for all of its management partners.
